welcome & namaste,
We are so excited that you are here with us on Day 3 of the Vata Season Immersion! Today we are going deep into the state of Deep Rest.
This yoga nidra for vata dosha is a grounding yogic sleep practice. This vata dosha meditation is an effortless relaxation that will calm the nerves. Yoga nidra for vata elevation is ayurvedic wisdom that is ancient and powerful. If you've been learning about vata elevation and wondering how to reduce vata dosha, this yoga nidra for vata imbalance will soothe and ground your elevated wind/vata element greatly! So much so that you might repeat this practice consistently (remember, one of the most therapeutic remedies for vata is routine and consistency) This Nidra includes some breath work to further calm the nervous system including Bhramari Pranayama (buzzing bee breath) and finishes with the physiological sigh.
What is Yoga Nidra? Yoga Nidra is a guided meditation that uses a systematic method of inducing complete physical, mental and emotional relaxation. This yogic sleep technique calms the nervous system and activates the parasympathetic (relaxation, rest & digest) response. This 30 minute yoga nidra for relaxation aids to calm stress and anxiety. It’s a short, effective yogic sleep practice with soft woodland birdsong to calm the nervous system. At the end of the practice there is a physiological sigh breath to wake you back up and further enhance the calming state for the central nervous system.
Here are a couple more Nidras that would be especially beneficial for calming vata dosha....

"Most of all I appreciated the way Ally and Tiina structured our time at the retreat. Every day felt like a new experience, though each day was anchored by early morning yoga -- yes, 6:30 am -- and afternoon restorative yoga. I loved doing yoga on the beach, loved the walk to the beach and walking along the beach. The food by Tao, the specially chosen chef, was wonderful. I enjoyed the nights we went to different local restaurants in Nosara."
Thank you deeply for your wonderful videos for Vata elevation. I have Meniere’s disease, which my Ayurveda teacher tells me, an excess of Vata. So, the videos are just what I need.
Just started completed 3 of the 5 day vata season immersion. It’s been so lovely & calming it’s just what my body & mind need. Looking forward to completing the other 2 days
