My Favourite Yoga Matt is the thickest B Mat from B Yoga. Any of the Strong 6mm Mats.
I'm all about Bolsters. I will sometimes use 3 bolsters per person in my restorative yoga classes, that's how enthusiastic I am about the bolster love 🙂 Of course, I like the extra long restorative square bolsters from Half Moon.
In the theme of "extra thick" padding, I love the bigger chunky cork yoga blocks from both brands. Some people prefer the softer foamy blocks too.
Blankets make AMAZING props and are great for warmth, which is really important in restorative yoga. My favourite are the natural and stone colours from Half Moon. I have students that are constantly asking me where to buy these amazing Yoga prop blankets. This is another prop that I usually place 3 per student in my restorative classes.
Straps are also a great restorative prop that I love to utilize, as well as sand bags for weight (a folded blanket or block will do) and EYE PILLOWS are so key!!! (These eye pillows are hand made by one of our Moon To Moon Restorative Yoga training graduates, Laura. She makes all sorts of beautiful products in her shop. I'm a regular shopper in her store!)
